I was scared

我很害怕

I went into the living room.There were lots of presents under our Christmas tree! Did Santa put them there?

It was the night before Christmas.It was very very late.Suddenly, I heard a noise.I was scared.

Wait! Maybe it was Santa Claus! Suddenly, I wasn't scared at all.I was excited and hungry.I walked to the kitchen.I wanted some milk and cookies.

I looked around.Was Santa there? No.There was no one there.
